The Plascon Industrial team recently introduced new brand identities fit for the superior quality product offering. Plascon believes this is the first step to building a brand that will fall in line with its other product lines – Protective Coatings and Professional.

Recent new additions to the Plascon Industrial Coatings range:

1.) Plascosafe Economical Primer

This product is a single pack water-based anti-corrosive primer that accepts a wide range of topcoats, both solvent and water based. It is a good quality anti-corrosive primer to be used on mild and galvanised steel. 

2.) General Purpose Enamel DTM

A medium quality alkyd-based gloss enamel, General Purpose Enamel “Direct to Metal” (DTM) is to be used as a decorative and protective finish on interior and exterior mild steel, galvanised steel, timber and masonry.

The DTM technology combines the primer and topcoat, which allows for a single coat application. This saves both time and money for the end-user.

3.) Plascosafe 500 DTM

This product is also part of our new “Direct to Metal” family. Plascosafe 500 is a single-pack DTM water-based coating and is ideal for application to mild and galvanised steel. This product can be tinted using the Plascon Inspired Colour tinting system and is available in White, Pastel, Deep and Transparent.

4.) Ultra Deck and Timber Dressing

Used to protect, preserve and beautify exterior woodwork (such as decks, gables, window frames, weather boarding, split pole fencing, cladding and prefabricated wooden buildings), Ultra Deck and Timber Dressing is ideal for domestic and industrial applications.

The product contains penetrating oils to protect and nourish wood, as well as effective preservatives for protection against fungal attack. UV absorbers and stabilizers are also part of the formulation for protection against UV degradation.
